Business Opportunity @ Wet & Windy in Bristol
I have been running Wet & Windy for over 20 years but due to personal reasons and my health I need to hand over the responsibility of Wet & Windy to somebody else. If not I will be forced to close Wet & Windy which would be a great loss to Dinghy sailors in the area, including myself.
Over the last few years as a result of the declining state of our economy I have been downsizing the shop to the ground flour so that it can run by a single full-time member of staff.
Once stable the company could be prepared to expand rapidly when the economy recovers. With so many Dinghy shops closing down and the power of the Internet there is a great opportunity for a Dinghy enthusiast.
The company has little value at this time and I would be interested in helping with the hand over, working part time improving the performance of the company when and where necessary. I also have funds to invest in the shop but must be convinced that it will not be good money after bad. In the longer term I would wish to take a modest income out of the company or sell it. If I fail to find a buyer then a manager would need to have some financial commitment to the company and hopefully will eventually own the shop.
